A set of twelve WilliamIV/early Victorian mahogany dining chairs with ornately carved backrests depicting acanthus leaves & scrolls and surmounted by a rose, raised on fluted front supports & rear sabre legs. The chair have been re-upholstered in gold patterned silk with drop in seat pads.
Condition report: Rear leg joints of one chair have cracked. Repair to cornice of another. A third chair will need the seat material re-fitting, c.1830-1850.
