A FIRST WORLD WAR MEMORIAL PLAQUE TO HUBERT LESTER ROLLS. A Memorial plaque to Hubert Lester Rolls. 38412 Hubert Lester Rolls was born in 1895, the son of Thomas and Sarah rolls from Fifehead Neville in Dorset. Initially number 32673 with the Somerset Light Infantry he went on to serve with the 2nd/6th Battalion of the Gloucestershire Regiment. He died of disease on the 26th November 1917 at the age of 22. He is buried at Duisans British cemetery, Etrun outside Arras, his headstone reads 'Rest in Peace'. Mounted for display.
