FRANK TURNER (BRITISH, ACTIVE 1863-1875) YOUNG COUNTRY MAIDEN SEATED IN A RURAL SETTING, with a wicker basket, a pair facing left and right, oil on canvas, signed lower left and lower middle, 75cm x 49.5cm, in ornate gilt frames (2) (Condition Report: the left hand figure has paint loss to the sky, neck, upper arm and skirt, there is also an indent with tear to the upper arm, there has been a repair to the lower edge of her skirt, the right hand figure appears to be free from damage, both canvases have craquelure, are very dusty and the frames have a number of substantial losses)
