An industrial nameplate, CRABTREE, from a 0-4-0 diesel shunter built by Ruston & Hornsby, Works No 3384, in 1953, their Type 88DS. New to British Oil and Coke Mills, Erith, Kent, then to British Gypsum, also in Erith, in May 1971. Then went into preservation at the North Downs Railway, Chatham in Dec 1985. Then to The Electric Railway Museum Coventry in April 1996. Now closed and site cleared. Cast iron, 29½"x5¾", ex loco condition. (Postage Band: D)
