Rare dated Yorkshire Prattware money box, probably Mexborough, inscribed to the fascia 'J Schofield born 13th April 1847', decorated throughout in bright colours, height 17cm, width 16.5cm
Overall condition is very good. Crazing visible throughout the white wall areas. Minor and minute glaze flakes. The rear left ball foot is a restored replacement and the immediate surrounding area is restored, with overpainting on the underside around the ball foot. Some minor nibbles on the inside edge of the slot.
