AN INTERESTING GROUP OF MEDALS AND EPHEMERA TO A SOLDIER OF THE 1/4TH NORTHUMBERLAND FUSILIERS, who was taken Prisoner of War and died in German Captivity in 1918, the group comprises of the British War and Victory medals, named 51189 Pte C.W. Conolly Northumberland Fusiliers, together with his Memorial Death plaque named Charles Wilding Conolly and a further well made metal plaque on a wooden display hanger produced by the Urban District of Llandudno named to L/Cpl Charles Wilding Conolly, also included are two sepia photographs of Conolly, one in a metal frame and a Royal Life Saving Award medallion for a later member of the same family dated 1931 in the name of K. Conolly, written copy paperwork and copy of the MIC index card and CWGC paperwork, Conolly is buried in Glageon Military Cemetery, Nord, France (parcel)
