A mid 20th century diamond and sapphire ring, the emerald cut sapphire claw set in white metal, with two rub over set old cut diamonds to each side, leading to plain polished shank, stamped 'plat' ring size M, 6gms, total sapphire weight estimated 4.50ct, total diamond weight estimated 0.60ct, within associated 'Mappin and Webb' box

Sapphire is a vivid cornflour blue colour.
Clean to the naked eye with inclusions seen with a x10 loupe.
Diamonds are all well matched in colour, bight and lively. With minor inclusions seen under x10 loupe.
Minor wear seen to the side of the under bezel, where it appears a ring has been worn next to it.
Possibly resizing join to the shank.
There is a minor window seen towards the culet of the sapphire.
Measurements - 8.8 x 7.8 x 6.4mm
