Small selection of Wedgwood dark blue jasper wares comprising two cylinder vases, 25cm and 24.5cm; a pair of dwarf candlesticks, 15cm; baluster jug, 17.5cm; and a tankard, 11.5cm (6)

More Information

Cylinder Vases - one of the vases has a number of tiny slither chips to the upper rim and the other feels very slightly irregular. This may suggest that these vases were originally mounted with metal rims. One of the vases appears to have a blob of something on the surface which could perhaps be glue (see images).
Candlesticks - one has a crack just beneath the sconce on the exterior. This appears to be a firing crack as it does not exhibit on the inside nozzle. The same stick has a small chip to the underside rim of the foot. The foot has also been ground, reducing the height of the foot by approximately 2-3mm. The other stick is in good condition.
Jug - has a small chip to the footrim, a firing crack around the base of the handle where is joins the body, another around the top of the handle, again where it joins the body.
No further damage found.
Tankard - there is a tiny chip to the blue dip at the top of the handle (see image). Similarly on the footrim. No further damage found.
