(NURSERYMAN) 1d PINK ENVELOPE; 13 Jan. 1869 usage of this rare 1d Pink env. with the pink "WILLIAM PAUL/WALTHAM CROSS N" advertising ring (light filing fold affects stamp) cancelled by a fine "WALTHAM CROSS/835" Duplex with Peebles arrival backstamps and an oval purple embossed flap device (torn on opening) clarifying that Paul 's business was based at his "NURSERIES & SEED WAREHOUSE".
