Thomas Bush Hardy RBA (1842-1897) - 'Portsmouth Harbour', signed, inscribed and dated 1891, also inscribed with the title of the work on the original frame, pencil, watercolour and gouache, heightened with white, 8.5" x 27.25"
In faded condition with oxidisation around the Chinese white, the sea has turned brown and there is some yellowing in the sky, there is no damage or tears to the paper and the work is contained within its original ornately decorated gilt plaster and wooden frame with original gold leaf inner slip.
