FIVE 18TH CENTURY HANOVARIAN PATTERN TABLESPOONS AND A SET OF FOUR PICTURE BACK TEASPOONS, the teaspoons engraved with initials EC to the back of the handles, the back of the bowls decorated with a bird and chicks design, makers mark TE over GS, probably Thomas Evans & George Smith III, the tablespoons comprising a pair with double drop, engraved M*B to the handles, maker's mark RP, probably Robert Perth, London 1754 a pair with shell backs, engraved to the handles EM, one with later engraved monogram and scrolls to the front, maker Thomas Northcote, London 1776 and another double drop, engraved EM to handle, maker Ebeneezer Coker, London 1745, gross weight 9.88ozt, 307.3 grams (9) (Condition report: the picture backs are fairly worn, the Thomas Northcote spoon with the later engraving has a worn bowl, otherwise in reasonable condition, some marks partially rubbed or indistinct)
