£70
A 19th century French spelter and gilt-metal-mounted eight-day figural mantle clock: white enamel dial with Roman numerals and flanked by onyx tablet inserts; above a scribe with attendant hound and a bird of prey over his right shoulder; the gilded movement striking on a bell (44 cm wide x 37 cm high)
Condition Report: The clock appears a little overwound but ticks well and the strike works on the hour and half-hour. The figure is 'bronzed' (Spelter). There is quite a large split to the back left leg.
