A Meiji Period Japanese Vase by Makuzu Kozan with fruiting vine and wicker fence design and character marks to base 11 /12in H, restored.
Makuzu Kozan appointed artist to Japanese Imperial Household and was one of major potters of the Meiji Period.
Neck and rim clearly restored with less smooth surface and later naive painting.
