1845 Victoria silver Crown (S 3882, ESC 282, Bull 2564). Obverse: left-facing 'Young Head' with the date (1845) below and 'VICTORIA DEI GRATIA' around. Reverse: crowned shield of royal arms within a laurel wreath with 'BRITANNIARUM REGINA FID: DEF:' around. Edge: inscribed lettering reading 'DECUS ET TUTAMEN ANNO REGNI VIII.' with cinquefoil stops. Weight: 28.16g. Diameter: 38mm. Grade: aVF - nicely toned with a little colour in the legends, some contact marks, around Very Fine.
