A FIRST WORLD WAR VICTORY MEDAL TO THE DURHAM LIGHT INFANTRY. A Great War Victory Medal named to 26567 Pte G.W. Daniels Durh L.I. George William Daniels served with the 10th Battalion of the Durham Light Infantry. Born In Hull, a shop porter before the war he enlisted on the 11th December 1915. He is recorded as a deserter absent from His Majesty's Service on the 25th December 1917. *CR Surface marks to both sides. A lot fee of £8 inc. VAT will be charged on top of the hammer price and BP on all lots.
