Suffragette Interest; A 'Souvenir Official Programme of the Great Demonstration', Hyde Park, Sunday June 21 at 3.30pm (1908), 'To Demand the Enfranchisement of Women', outlining the timings and routes of each march with details of the speakers, the text surrounded by twenty portraits of the speakers, all within a purple, white and green foliate border, printed on crepe paper, printed and published by Mrs S. Burgess, 14 Artillery Lane, Bishopsgate, London E.C., 370 x 390mm, no significant damages, numerous folds and creases as it has been kept folded in a small envelope, colours bright.
Note: 'The Great Demonstration', also known as Women's Sunday was a large demonstration organised by the WSPU with up to 500,000 people in attendance, it was the first time that the newly adopted colours of Purple, White and Green were seen in public.
