THREE SMALL STOCK BOOKS with the balance of the collection. Diverse range of early material with some unusual items but also some stamps without gum or other imperfections. Amongst the Br. Empire highlights are QV Antigua mint & used range (17), COGH 3d blue unused, QV 1857-70 Ceylon range used and unused plus 96c drab SG 132a wmk. inverted unused (no gum) but unpriced in SG (£250 as used), British Levant 1893 local opt. 40pa on ½d vermilion used on piece (2) but not guaranteed SG 7 (see note in SG); Bahamas 1938 ½d green in mint vert. pair var. elongated "E" SG 149a (£200 x 2); St. Kitts QV pair of coloured proofs of an unissued design (?) one in deep blue green, other in grey-black; Egypt die proof in black on glossy white card of the 1879 5 para design, etc. Better foreign issues include early imperf. Portugal, Montevideo 'Suns', early imperf. issues of Spain, Greece, Holland, etc. Also issues for Wenden, Russian Levant imperf.
