WILLIAM ROBERTS STATION BREWERY BROWN HILLS. 4.6ins tall. Presenting an absolute gem of a beer jug rarity, quite possibly the only undamaged example known? Inward tapering all white shape, rear handle, dark blue transfer both sides featuring the company train pict. t.m. Note the Imperial pint mark below the lip which in iteself is a very rare feature on a transferred advertising jug. Fred Payton Birmingham base transfer. An interesting read of the firm & founder involved: https://brownhillsbob.com/2014/11/13/such-was-his-devotion/ . Minor base flake and bottom edge pin head nibbles does not detract. An important early brewery offering.
