Stanley Gibbons ‘A Colour Dictionary’, 3rd edition, 1908 with 60 illustrations in colour. An Art Nouveau period education in stamp colours. Uncommon item.
From the collection of Tom Pring, a highly respected member of the Belgian Study Circle and the author of two works on Belgian issues, ‘Fine Barbe Varieties’ (2009) and ‘1893 Armoires du Royaume’ (2015). Pring was half-way through a work on the Ostend-Dover Route, which he was sadly unable to complete.
