George Armfield (British, 1808-1884): depicting three terriers worrying rats in a cage on a barrel, oil on canvas, signed lower right, 36 by 46cm, in gilt frame, 62.5 by 72cm, together with a Continental scene signed 'E. Francis 1889', 22 by 30cm, in a gilt frame, 30 by 38cm. (2)
Large gilt frame has a lot of damage along the bottom. Some of the bits have been collected and placed into a plastic pouch and attached to the back of the frame.
