A MID VICTORIAN SILVER TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE London 1868, Goldsmith's Alliance, London, of tapered cylindrical form, the disc lid each with a knop and strapwork finial, engraved with a crest and motto 'Spe Tutiores Armis' within a garter and foliate cartouche, floral pendants and swags, scrolled handle with ivory insulators, comprising coffee pot, teapot and two handled sugar bowl, approximately 67oz (3)

Generally condition is good - wear commensurate with age but there are small dents to each piece and the coffee pot has a crease dent approximately 1cm at the base below the vacant cartouche, there is also an old solder repair at the base of the handle of the coffee pot, you will notice that the handle on the coffee pot is different from the teapot
