A WEDGWOOD CREAMWARE PART DINNER SERVICE c.1807, painted in classical taste with scrolled paper borders en grisaille with feathered foliage, comprising:- soup tureen and cover oval 38cm x 21cm over handles, two handled oval tureen and two domed covers 36cm x 20cm over handles, pair of rectangular tureens and covers 26cm x 21cm x 10cm high over handles, pair of rectangular tureens and covers 26cm x 21cm x 7cm high over handles and two dishes, two handled circular dish and cover on a separate square pedestal 26cm over handle, pair of sauce tureens and covers on integral stands, 8.5cm x 12.5cm, four large sauce tureens with integral stands and one cover 15cm x10cm, pair of oval dishes 17cm x 11cm, one sauce tureen 12.5cm x 8.5cm and two odd lids, 67 dinner plates 25cm diameter, 21 soup plates 24.5cm diameter, one meat dish 54cm x 40.5cm, three meat dishes 38.5cm x 28.5cm, five meat dishes 33.5cm x 25cm, two meat dishes 29cm x 21.5cm, one meat dish 27cm x 19.5cm, one circular plate 32cm, three side plates 25cm diameter; together with six associated items tureen and cover, quatrefoil pedestal dish, oval lid, quatrefoil dish, circular dish on foot rim (damages) 142 pieces in total. Please note this is a large dinner service and it is not possible for us to provide a full condition report on each individual item. We have however tried to list obvious damages here:
Plates - 16 with obvious cracks and/or chips, 4 with minor chips, rest appear to be in good order commensurate with age
Side plates - in good condition
Soup plates - majority in good order, 2 with chips to rim
Meat dishes - largest in good condition, of the remainder 1 is chipped, 1 has a large crack, 1 has pieces broken off, couple show minor wear
Large round serving plate - good
Serving stand - cracked and stapled
Small footed bowls - 1 chipped and cracked, 1 lid chipped, others in generally good condition showing minor wear
2 rectangular tureens with staples and cracks
Tureen with square stand - cracked and stapled
3 serving dishes (associated items) minor cracks, bowl heavily stapled
one large oval lidded tureen in good condition, has spare cover which is cracked
