John Peterkin, London a mahogany brass inlaid Regency bracket clock the eight-day duration, chain double-fusee five-pillar movement striking the hours on a bell with the backplate engraved with decorative border and maker's name John Peterkin, London, the round white painted convex dial having black Roman numerals, decorative blued-steel hands and with repeat maker's signature, the steeple-shaped mahogany case having turned brass pillars to the edges, ebonised and brass-inlaid decoration and standing on brass ball feet, height 76cm. Note: John Peterkin is recorded as working in London from circa 1811 until circa 1840.
