MAIL FROM BRITISH FORCES JUST AFTER WATERLOO, OCCUPATION MAIL, ETC.; 18 Oct. 1813 EL from Bavarian C-in-C (address part erased) with fine "KB FELDPOSTAMT" on the front, 1817 & c.1817 pair of Russian Military expenses certificates (from the Boulogne area?), 6 Apr. 1814 internal GB cover with mention of "Good news from our Armies nw in Paris", 24 Aug. 1815 EL from a British soldier at Philippeville (good contents; full typed transcript) ref. white flags being respected by Wellington, the ongoing Siege of Givet etc., 3 Oct. 1815 EL from British forces at "Chile Camp" (nr. Paris) to London, 14 Aug. 1816 EL from Carlisle to an officer with "Pack's Brigade, British Army, France", 19 Nov. 1816 EL with "SUISSE PAR/BEFFORT" ex Bern to a Swiss Guard commander in Dijon, etc. Good lot for further research/study; material from this period is hard to find.
