A worksplate, BUILT 1952 CREWE, from BR Standard Class 7 Britannia 4-6-2 No 70027 RISING STAR allocated new to Cardiff Canton in December 1952 where it remained for almost nine years. Its later sheds were Aston, Holyhead, Crewe South, Llandudno and Carlisle Kingmoor from where it was withdrawn in July 1967 and sold for scrap to Motherwell Machinery & Scrap Co at Wishaw. Cast iron, 10¼"x6", the front repainted. (Postage Band: C)
