BELLVILLE SASSOON, LONDON, An early 1980s 100% silk ball dress with all over printed pattern to outer layer, and layers of net underskirt. Provenance: Lots 1-90 to include the part clearance of 86 Eaton Square for The Baroness Rawlings. This dress was worn by The Baroness to the engagement party of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer, at Buckingham Palace in 1981. Condition: some general wear, and loose hem ruffle, with tear; some surface stains to front ruffle and left side of skirt. See all photos. size 12.
