Ashley, an 18ct gold two-day open-face pocket watch the white enamel dial having black Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial, a 50-hour up-and-down state of wind indication and signed Edwd. F. Ashley, 2 Green Terrace, Clerkenwel, 05644, the two-day duration movement having a finely engraved balance cock with a Breguet overcoil to the hairspring and signed with a repeat of the makers name, hallmarked to the case and inner cuvee for 18ct gold, London 1909 along with the casemakers initials F.T. in an oval for Fred Thoms of Clerkenwell, E.C., diameter 56mm, total weight ca. 155.77gms.
