EARLY COVER TO G.B. - ILLEGALLY POSTED AS AN INLAND LETTER AT REMOTE "CHUDLEIGH" P.O.; 14 Nov. 1770 E (light toning and reinforced folds) from "Revd. Mr. Langman, M[issionar]y. at St. John's Town, Newfoundland (ex the Society for the Propagation of the Gospel correspondence) to London ("Westminster") with a mainly fine early "CHUDLEIGH" mark on the flap beside a smudged "31/DE" arrival Bishop Mark.
