A FIRST WORLD WAR VICTORY MEDAL TO THE GRENADIER GUARDS. A Great War Victory medal named to 18260 Pte J. Sheppard G. Gds. John Sheppard from Cropwell Bishop in Nottinghamshire served from the 18th August 1914 until the 20th February 1918, he was recorded as being wounded on the 4th October 1917 and entitled to a wound stripe. He was awarded Silver Wound Badge 321481 as a result of wounds received.
