Four large shell cameo brooches; the first depicts a side profile of a flapper girl, carved on a mainly pale ground, in frame with twisted details, fitted with tube hinged pin stem and C-catch, yellow metal unmarked but tests 9ct, 5.1 x 4.4 cm; the second depicts a scene of Goddess Hebe feeding Zeus' eagle, in an intertwined tube surround, fitted with pin stem and C-catch, yellow metal tests 15ct, 6.5 x 5.6 cm; a swivel brooch set with shell carved with a scene of Hebe and the eagle, framed within a floral engraved revolving gilt metal surround, fitted with pin stem and C-catch, 6.8 x 6.0 cm; the last depicts side profile of Orpheus with her lyre, in a gilt metal mount chased with floral design and decorated with ropework details, fitted with pin stem and C-catch, 6.3 x 5.2 cm. Total weight of items 112.0 grams (4).
