Impressive walnut console table base on scroll supports profusely carved with grotesque birds at each corner and linked by fruit and foliate friezes to front sides. Modern inset two piece marble top. 172cm wide 92cm deep.
Condition as images. Some splits, chips and possible repairs. Moulding to beak lacking on both sides of one support. Also one piece of moulding on beak missing on two back supports. Piece of moulding lacking to reverse of table. Surface marks, fading & staining predominantly to wood surrounding two piece marble top. 2 small chips to middle edges of marble. Modern pine support batons to underside.
