A French bronzed figure of Lorenzo de Medici after Michelangelo, 19th century. Depicting the Italian statesman seated on a plinth. Inscribed ‘Penseur’ (Thinker) to the front and MICHEL-ANGE to the reverse of the plinth. Possibly a Grand Tour example. 14.5 cm height. Condition report: Light wear with age.
