A CHINESE OVERLAY GLASS SNUFF BOTTLE, QIANLONG PERIOD, 18TH CENTURY

Possibly produced at the Imperial Palace Workshop. Of slightly tapering ovoid form, supported on an oval foot ring. The bottle itself is of camphor glass, with a green overlay of waves and white overlay of water lilies and boys sailing in a boat. Domed green and pink coloured agate lid and short spoon. A square, 'Qianlong Nianzhi' mark, height 6.5cm.
