Arch Painted Face With Hunting Scene Above The Dial With Roman Numerals, Dated Aperture and Second Hand Flanked By Reeded Columns. Eight Day Movement Striking on a Bell. Marked Rob't Sutton of Stafford. Height 6 feet 10 inches tall by 9 inches deep and 20 inches wide. Having Once Belonged to William Palmer Also Known as the Rugeley Poisoner or the Prince of Poisoners. Palmer was an English doctor found guilty of murdering his patients for financial gain. Charles Dickens called Palmer "the greatest villain that ever stood in the Old Bailey".
