An English mid 18th century silver hilted smallsword, hollow triangular section colichmarde blade 32", the hilt retaining some light gilding, the double shell guard, knucklebow, grip and pommel embossed with rococco scrolls, figures and leaves, the knucklebow bearing London hall mark for 1746/47 and maker's mark, possibly Peter Bonneau of London, GC (light wear and staining to the blade). £650-700
