Two 19th century Swiss musical boxes, each having inlaid decoration and strung outlines to the covers, and playing various tunes on steel combs with brass drums. Both combs are 10 inches approx. the cases 50x22.5x15.5cm and 47x18x14.5cm approx. The smaller box has evidence of minor worming, surface wear and a damaged hinge, the larger box is in better condition with some wear commensurate with age and use, but no significant damage. No missing teeth. String broken in larger box. Hinge broken on smaller box, no missing teeth.
