A pair of Meissen floral encrusted vases and covers, late 19th c, with diminutive figure handles in the form of a lady with a parasol and a gallant,   the bulbous ogee body painted with 18th c lovers and, to the reverse, flowers, on baluster pedestal and oval foot, the domed cover surmounted by a mound of flowers, 34cm h, incised 1675, underglaze blue crossed swords

First quality and substantially good condition with some typical chipping of the leaves and flowers but no substantial damage. One vase with firing crack inside not visible from exterior
