A Victorian 18ct gold ring formed as a coiled snake, the head set with a rose cut pear shaped diamond and set with diamond eyes, the central stone approx. 0.52 carats, hallmarked 18ct gold band, maker's initials 'W.R', Birmingham 1883, gross wt. 9.9g, size R/S.

Condition - old repair to a possible split near date letter and slightly obscuring the lower case gothic 'i', general wear to include minor marks and scratches, diamond appears colourless, cleavage fissure and dark crystal inclusion visible with 10x loupe.
