Accompanying these figures is a copy of an entry from a Sotheby's sale catalogue showing two identical figures, and further printed information speculating on the origin of these figures, which appear to be copies of or models for the well known Faberge hard stone figures of the Kamer Kazak Guards of the Russian Empresses.
