Struck to commemorate the 25 year Jubilee of King George V, its modernistic design of St George led this coin to become known as the "Rocking Horse" crown.
Bare head left, B.M. on truncation; GEORGIVS V DEI GRA: BRITT: OMN: REX. Design by Bertram Mackennal. / 1930's style version of St. George and the dragon, 'CROWN' and date above. Design by Percy Metcalfe. Edge inscribed; DECUS ET TUTAMEN ANNO REGNI XXV.
