RARE "DAMIETTE" MARK [EKD?] ON OFFICIAL COVER SENT FREE OF POSTAGE TO CAIRO; Fine 7 Nov. 1800 E from "Damiette" to "Citoyen Reynier Directeur des Revenues en Nature et du Mobilier Na[tiona]l." in Cairo (concerning the price of rice etc.) with a slightly over-inked but fine and very rare "DAMIETTE" mark (only recorded 7 Nov. 1800 - 17 Mar. 1801, making this the Earliest Known Date) nicely placed on the front.
