Edward III (1327-1377), AR Halfpenny, Third, or “Florin” coinage, 1344-1351. London mint. Crowned facing bust , rev. Long cross, three pellets in quarters. 0.65gm. (SCBI 39 (North) 1131; S 1557.) Extremely Fine, very well struck and toned, a beautiful example of this usually badly struck small coin.
