Volunteer Pattern M1888 Lee Metford Bayonet with All Leather Scabbard. A good and scarce example the Volunteer pattern with double edged blade with no inspection or issue stamps. Steel crossguard muzzle ring and pommel, the latter with no oil hole. Wooden slab grips retained by two brass screws. Housed in its original full leather scabbard, fitted with original as worn 1914 pattern bayonet frog. A good matching item.
