A Royal Worcester porcelain stem vase painted with a peacock and peahen in a landscape by Reginald Austin, shape number H287, green printed maker's mark for 1907 to underside, 16.5cm high (at fault)

The piece shows a flaked loss to the glaze under the rim, a small chip to the rim approximately 2mm wide, and extensive rubbing to the gilt around approximately 1/3 of the rim. There are further nibbles and rubbing to the gilt around the foot rim, and rubbing to the bases of the handles. The body shows the odd small firing pit and frit, and minor surface wear commensurate with age.
