A worksplate, NORTH BRITISH LOCOMOTIVE Co, 26184, 1947, from a LNER B1 Class 4-6-0 No 1283 which became BR 61283. It entered traffic at Colwick in February 1948 and its later sheds included Leicester, Woodford Halse, Kings Cross, Norwich and Stratford from where it was withdrawn in September 1962 and cut up at Doncaster Works. Cast white brass, 13¾"x5½", ex loco condition. (Postage Band: C)
