WWII Second World War - a collection of photographs, letters and general ephemera relating to 1609059 L. A. C. Skipton of 5001 Squadron (Airfield Construction), RAF. The collection includes: an original 5001 Squadron Christmas Dinner menu from France in 1944, an original Canadian YMCA C'mon And Sing! songbook, several German maps, various photographs (including pre-war), a Veri-Tell Plan of 'Britain's Latest High Speed Low Level Attack Bomber the De Havilland Mosquito, various letters to Skipton from his wife Grace (all wartime dated), photographs of 'Malcom Club' houses, 1941 dated German Phrase Book, English to French dictionary, a folded poster depicting Adolf Hitler, souvenir postcards, German currency / coins, and other items.
