Engine - J.A.P 500cc long four, 38 bhp and 5700 rpm. Engine No. JOS/Z 26868
Clutch - Rudge, multiplate
Carburettor - Amal, twin float
Fuel - Methanol
1933 Saw the introduction of the long four J.A.P. It now sported a double pilgrim oil pump, which provided a constant supply of oil to the valve stems and rocker assembly for the first time but as a belt and braces measure it still retained its auxiliary hand pump.
