MacDonald (Ramsay, 1866-1937), An original typed letter on House of Commons embossed paper, signed by Ramsay MacDonald, dated 18th November 1927, to Joseph King (promotor of the Peasants Arts Movement), letter is thanking him for the tobacco and that he shouldn't be so generous in future, 19cm x 24cm approx., loose in card mount. MacDonald was the first Labour Party politician to become British Prime Minister.
