A Striking Wucai Baluster Dragon Jar and Cover, Shunzhi, richly decorated in strong enamels and dark underglaze blue, with a fierce green dragon and an aubergine dragon rising from swirling waves to dispute the 'flaming Pearl' against a background of flames and cloud scrolls, the cover with further cloud scroll motifs, H:40cm.
Fair condition, but with large area of good restoration neck, fritting to rim of vase and edge of cover
