A BEAUTIFUL GEORGE II IRISH CREAM JUG, Dublin, circa 1745. Maker’s initials for William Williams. Decorated all over with chasing of flowers & foliage; with a ‘greenman’ to the front beneath the spout, the rim scallop shaped, with a double scroll handle, resting on tripod leg with lion head knees & paw feet. A really beautiful example of Georgian silversmith craftsmanship. Dimensions: 10.25 x 11.5 x 6cm. Weight: 4ozt.
